Plant
Vine tea is made from the leaves and vines of the Ampelopsis grossedentata plant, which grows in the mountainous regions of China.
Only the top, fresh shoots are carefully hand-picked to ensure the highest quality.

Dried Leaves
The dried leaves of Vine Tea are typically small, thin, curled and covered with a fine white frost, which is actually the crystallization of flavonoid compounds, primarily dihydromyricetin. This frost-like coating gives the leaves a distinctive silvery sheen and is a natural feature of the tea.
