1. Origins in Pasha, Yunnan
Sourced from the prestigious Pasha region in Yunnan, China, this 2017 tea cake is a masterpiece of nature. Pasha, nestled in the southwest of Jinghong City and embraced by the Ailao Mountains at over 1,700 meters altitude, offers a unique microclimate. Warm, humid conditions with 1,500 - 1,700 mm of annual rainfall and 17 - 20°C average temperature, along with morning and evening fog, create the perfect setting for ancient tea trees to thrive.
2. Hand - Picked from Ancient Tea Trees
Our tea leaves are carefully hand - picked during the prime late March - mid - April season. Only the tender one - bud - two - leaves or one - bud - three - leaves from centuries - old, pollution - free tea trees are selected. These deep - rooted trees absorb rich nutrients, endowing the leaves with a plump texture and high levels of polyphenols, amino acids, and caffeine.
3. Traditional Craftsmanship
  • Withering: After picking, the leaves are gently withered in a shaded, well - ventilated area for 8 - 12 hours, softening them and kick - starting flavor - forming reactions.
  • Shaqing: The withered leaves are quickly transferred to a 200 - 220°C wok for shaqing. Expert tea masters stir and toss the leaves for 3 - 5 minutes, deactivating enzymes and developing a distinct aroma.
  • Rolling: Hand - or machine - rolled, the leaves are twisted into strips, breaking cell walls to release tea juice and shape the characteristic Pu - erh form.
  • Sun - Drying: Natural sun - drying for 1 - 2 days preserves the tea's natural flavor and nutrients.
  • Steaming & Shaping: Steamed to pliability, the leaves are pressed into a tightly - structured cake.
  • Aging: Since 2017, this cake has been aging in a clean, dry, well - ventilated space, mellowing its bitterness and astringency and enriching its flavor.
4. Exquisite Appearance & Aroma
The neatly - pressed cake has a smooth, uniform surface with dark to brownish - green leaves and golden buds. Dry, it exudes a fresh, floral - herbal aroma. Brewed, a strong wildflower scent mixed with a hint of forest floor fills the air, followed by a sweet, mellow note as it cools.
5. Rich Taste

The first sip reveals a full - bodied flavor. Initial briskness gives way to sweetness, with bitterness quickly dissipating into a long - lasting huigan. The complex flavor profile includes fruit, honey, and earthy notes, becoming more harmonious with each sip.
